How to delete your Gmail from your Google Account
In this article I am going to teach you how to remove your Gmail from your Google Account, or better said, how to delete your Gmail from your Google Account. If you do not want your Gmail address and emails anymore, you can always remove them and no harm will come to your account, as they are considered different services.
Please keep in mind that the steps for removing your Gmail differ from one device to another, that’s why I am going to explain how to do so on Android, Computer, and Iphone / Ipad.
Important : If you use or used the Gmail Offline app, you will also need to clear your browser’s cache and cookies in order to start and end the deleting process.

I. Your emails and mail settings will be permanently deleted.
II. You will no longer be able to use your Gmail address to send or receive emails. If you change your mind, you may be able to get your Gmail address back but it’s not guaranteed.
III. Your Gmail address will never be available for future use by anyone.
IV. Your Google Account will not be deleted; only your Gmail service will be removed from your account. You will still have all of your activity and purchases that you made on Google Play.
If you use your Gmail for work, school, or any other group, please contact your administrator first.
I. Before deleting your Gmail service, you need to download your data in order to not lose it forever.
II. On your Android phone or tablet, you need to open your device’s Settings app, and then go to “Google”, then tap on “Manage your Google Account”.
III. At the top, you need to tap “Data & personalization”.
IV. Under “Download, delete, or make a plan for your data,” you need to tap “Delete a service or your account”. You may need to sign in for that.
V. Next to “Gmail,” you’ll need to tap on “Delete”.
VI. Follow the steps shown to you on the screen.
I. Before you delete your Gmail service, you’ll need to download all of your data and info.
II. Go to “Google Account”.
III. On the left navigation panel you will need to click on “Data & personalization”.
IV. On the “Download, delete, or make a plan for your data panel”, you’ll need to click on “Delete a service or your account”.
V. On the “Delete a Google service panel”, please click on “Delete a service”. You may have to sign in.
VI. Next to the “Gmail,” you need to select “Delete”.
VII. Follow the steps on the screen to finish the deleting process.
I. Before you delete your Gmail service, you need to download your data.
II. On your iPhone or iPad, please open the Gmail app.
III. In the top right, you need to tap on your profile picture or on the initial and then “Manage your Google Account”. If you don’t use the Gmail app, go to myaccount.google.com.
IV. At the top of the pahe, tap on “Data & personalization”.
V. Under “Download, delete, or make a plan for your data,” tap on “Delete a service or your account”.
VI. Tap on “Delete a service”. You may have to sign in.
VII. Next to “Gmail,” tap on “Delete”.
VIII. Follow the steps on the screen until you finish the process.
